Home is something that everyone needs, but some I don't know what it is like to live in one place for a long time. I grew up as part of a military family, so that I moved constantly as I grew up. Because of this I don't know what it truly means to live grow up in one place. I have sometimes felt somewhat disconnected to the places I live.
-
Whenever I move, I live in a new house, always feeling somewhat disconnected from the place that I live. Even though I enjoy living there, and I see the beauty around me, it doesn't necessarily feel like a huge part of my life.
-
The house that I live in is just a building that serves as shelter for me. It is a place for me to live, but often I don't feel a connection with the house.
-
Despite the difficulty of never having a home in my life, I am not sad. It is not the home that makes me feel comfortable. There is something else. I feel at home, when I spend time with my family. I always have a place to call home.
-
I move so much, but I have a home. It's just not a specific place.
-
My home is where the people I care about live. My Mom, my Dad , sister Alison, and my dog. Where ever they are living, I can call my home. I move every two to three years, so I have never stayed in one place for too long. They are the only constant in my life. My family and my friends make the place that I am home.
-
I don't need to have a place that I have lived for a long time to feel at home.
-
I have a home--It is in my heart, and the people around me make wherever I am at the time, a place for me to call my home.
